Our group will meet in Tel Aviv, where our adventure for the next 10 days begins. We will visit many places of biblical, historical and archaeological interest. Every night we will arrive at 4-star hotels to recharge our batteries for the next day. Our services include buffet breakfast and dinner at each hotel where we will stay. During the day, we will have a modern bus with Wi-Fi and air conditioning system, with an expert guide in Spanish and English, who will make us travel with our imagination to the places that marked biblical history. We will also have a theologian who will make this trip a purely spiritual adventure. In our passage through the Jordan River, we can be part of a baptismal ceremony, to re-consecrate our lives and re-seal our covenant of faith with God. Those who are baptized will receive a commemorative certificate. Our travel cost includes accommodation, breakfasts and lunches, tickets to the specified places.

What to Expect

In this extraordinary trip we go to Caesarea to see the fortress of the Crusaders, to Galilee and the Mount of Beatitudes, place of the Sermon on the Mount, Tabgha, place of multiplication of the loaves and fishes and Capernaum where Jesus performed many miracles. We arrived in Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation. The Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, and the experience of Jerusalem the Holy City chosen by God. Walk through the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorsa, the Mount of Olives. Continue to the Valley of Moses in Jordan, where you can stand on Mount Nebo and see the promised land as Moses once did. See one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, the capital of the Nabataeans, City of Petra. These and more spectacular places in the Holy Land assure you an experience you will never forget.

Day 0TRAVEL DAY

Guests should schedule flights to arrive by the evening of August 3 in order to participate in all tour activities beginning the following morning.

Please note: Hotel accommodations for the night of August 3 are not included in the tour package. Our team can assist in securing a room at the same hotel where the group will stay on August 4; however, this additional night will be at the guest’s expense.

Day 1ISRAEL: Caesarea Maritima & Nazareth

Our journey begins at Caesarea Maritima, the magnificent Roman port city built by Herod the Great. Here, guests will explore the ancient harbor, theater, and ruins where the Apostle Paul was held before being sent to Rome.

We then travel to Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew up. A highlight of the day is visiting the Church of the Annunciation, commemorating the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary.

Day 2ISRAEL: Caesarea Philippi & Sea of Galilee Region

Today we travel north to Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared Jesus to be the Messiah.

We continue to the Sea of Galilee, the setting for much of Jesus’ ministry. Stops include Capernaum, often called Jesus’ ministry headquarters, and the Mount of Beatitudes, traditionally recognized as the site of the Sermon on the Mount.

We also visit Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle.

Day 3ISRAEL & JORDAN: Crossing into Jordan | Jerash

Today we cross the border into Jordan and visit Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Guests will walk along its colonnaded streets, explore temples and theaters, and experience the grandeur of this Decapolis city.

We then continue south toward Petra.

Day 4JORDAN: Petra & Wadi Rum

This morning is dedicated to exploring Petra, the breathtaking Nabatean city carved into rose-red cliffs. Guests will walk through the Siq and stand before the iconic Treasury, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Later, we travel to Wadi Rum, known as the “Valley of the Moon,” where we experience the dramatic desert landscape.

Day 5JORDAN: Wadi Rum, Mount Nebo & Dead Sea

After time in Wadi Rum, we travel to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death.

We then continue to the Dead Sea, where guests will have the opportunity to float in its mineral-rich waters and enjoy the unique landscape.

Overnight: Dead Sea

Day 6JORDAN: Jordan River Baptism & Dead Sea

Today begins with a meaningful baptism opportunity at the Jordan River, at the traditional site associated with Jesus’ baptism.

If time and conditions permit, we may visit Amman, Jordan’s capital city.

We conclude the day with additional time at the Dead Sea.

Day 7ISRAEL: Jericho & Transfer to Bethlehem

We return into Israel and visit Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world.

Stops include Elisha’s Well, the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus fasted in the wilderness, and the traditional site of Tomb of Moses (viewed from the region, as the traditional burial site is associated with Mount Nebo).

We then travel to Bethlehem.

Overnight: Bethlehem

Day 8ISRAEL: Jerusalem Old City

Today we explore Jerusalem, stepping into the heart of biblical history.

We visit the Temple Mount area, viewing the Dome of the Rock, and walk the Via Dolorosa, retracing the traditional path of Jesus’ journey to the crucifixion.

We conclude at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and spend time at the Western Wall.

Overnight: Bethlehem

Day 9ISRAEL: Mount of Olives & Mount Zion

We begin on the Mount of Olives, taking in a panoramic view over Jerusalem.

Visits include the Church of All Nations, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of the Ascension.

We also explore Mount Zion and visit the traditional site of David’s Tomb.

Overnight: Bethlehem

Day 10 (TRAVEL DAY)ISRAEL: Bethlehem & Departure

Our final morning is spent in Bethlehem.

We visit the Church of the Nativity, marking the birthplace of Jesus, as well as Shepherds’ Field and Rachel’s Tomb.

Following these visits, guests transfer to the airport for departure flights home.

Please include the amount you would like to pay in the body of the email. An invoice will be created and a payment link will be sent to your email address. You can use this invoice to pay with your credit or debit card. The 4% fee will be automatically added to the amount being paid.

FAQ

How can I secure my spot on the tour?

  • All reservations must be made through the official reservations website. Requests for reservations made through email, text, phone call, etc. will not be accepted or confirmed until properly registered online.
  • Your deposit (and all payments due at the time of registration) must be paid in full in order to confirm your reservation.

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

  • If you would like to have a hotel room to yourself (with no roommate), there is an additional charge of $790 per person.
  • If you do not want to pay the single supplement but do not have someone to room with, we will do our best to find a roommate for you, but we cannot guarantee a roommate for you. If we are unable to secure you a roommate, you will be responsible for covering the cost of the single supplement.
  • Single supplements must be paid in full up front.

Am I expected to tip?

  • Tips are not included in the cost of the trip payment, but THEY ARE MANDATORY.
  • Tips are calculated at $10 per person per day for 10 days, which will be distributed among: the bus drivers, guide(s), hotel staff, restaurant staff, etc.
  • In each bus we will have an assigned person who will come to you to collect the $100 USD. Please have the money ready on the first day of the tour. The designated person will count each person’s money as it is collected, so please do not put it in a sealed envelope. Sealed envelopes WILL be opened in order to check the amount inside.

Is there a dress code for this tour?

  • We will send out a suggested packing list within 30-60 days of departure for your tour.
  • As part of a group tour, we kindly ask all travelers to be mindful of how their clothing choices may impact the experience of others in the group and how they may be perceived in the countries we visit. While we value individual expression, traveling in a group setting and across international borders requires an extra level of sensitivity and respect for diverse cultures, customs, and fellow travelers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping maintain a respectful, inclusive, and unified group environment throughout the tour.
  • To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey for everyone, we respectfully request that travelers refrain from wearing clothing that features political messages, religious symbols, or statements that could be considered provocative, controversial, or culturally inappropriate. We also request that you do not wear any clothing that is military style. Attire that falls in the categories listed above can unintentionally cause misunderstandings or complications, particularly when visiting places of worship or passing through customs and immigration in certain countries.
  • Modest, comfortable, and culturally respectful clothing is encouraged, especially when visiting religious or historical sites. When in doubt, we recommend dressing conservatively and erring on the side of caution.
  • Bring Casual and comfortable clothes, as well as comfortable footwear for walking.
  • Temperatures in Israel in October will be between 80°F to 83 F°. While in Jordan, temperatures will be between 83-88º. Plan to dress in layers, that way if you get warm you can take clothes off, and if it’s cold you put clothes on. You can safely leave things on the bus while we visit the different places.
  • Bring bathing suits for the Dead Sea. Preferably your swimwear is one piece.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Neither shorts or bermudas, nor sleeveless blouses are allowed in the holy places. Please plan to have long pants and long sleeve shirts or sweaters available to layer over other clothes while visiting these places.

What power adapters do I need for this tour?

  • The voltage for Israel and Jordan is 220 volts. You should check the voltage compatibility of your devices (we suggest bringing devices that are both 110/120 AND 220/240 voltage so you do not need to pack a converter).
  • Several hotels have electrical adapters and converters in their rooms; however, it is good that you bring your own European-style adapters and converters to connect your electrical appliances (especially hair dryers or hair straighteners). Most cameras, cell phones and tablets have multi-voltage connectors. The adapter style is Type H.

How much luggage am I allowed to bring on the tour?

  • You are allowed to bring 1 piece of checked luggage of up to 50 pounds per person, plus 1 carry-on.
  • Carry on luggage size and weight is determined by the airline. Please check airline guidelines after booking your flights(s). For our busses, the carry on luggage should not exceed 16 pounds.
  • Additional luggage is not permitted, even if the airline allows it. Our buses cannot accommodate additional luggage.
  • It’s a good idea to pack enough clothes for two days in your carry-on (this will be useful in case your luggage is lost or delayed).

Do I need a passport for this tour?

  • Yes, every traveler (including children and infants) will need a passport for this tour.
  • Your passport must be valid at least 6 months after your return home from the foreign country.

What if I need to cancel my tour?

  • The cancellation policy for this tour is as follows:

Do I need a visa for this tour?

  • It is your responsibility to verify if a visa is needed for any of the countries included. Please check based on the nationality of the passport you will be traveling with.
  • If a visa is required for your country we need to be informed so we can provide the needed documentation to secure a visa.
  • If a visa is needed, you must process your visa with enough time to receive approval before traveling. Please follow the direct instructions for visa application from the country/countries you will be traveling to.

What airports does this tour depart from?

  • As flights are NOT included in the tour cost, the departure airport from the USA will be up to the traveler when booking their flights. 
  • All flights will need to arrive into and depart out of the Tel-Aviv Airport within the designated group arrival and departure windows. Arrival and Departure windows will be sent to the group no later than 120 days prior to departure. 

Can someone help me book my flights?

  • Yes! Ruaj Ministry can help book your flights for you if you would like. A processing fee of $50 per person will be added to the total cost of the flights.
  • The full cost of the flights, plus the processing fees, will need to be paid before the flights are confirmed.
