Itinerary

Day 1ISRAEL: Tel Aviv / Tiberias

We begin our adventure by heading to Caesarea Maritima, the port city built by King Herod. The Apostle
Paul was a prisoner here until he was taken to Rome. We will stop at the Fortress of the Crusaders and the
Roman Amphitheater. Then we will continue to our hotel to have a welcome drink. After that, the rooms will be distributed. Dinner will be served, and we will spend our first night in Israel.

Day 2ISRAEL: Caesarea Philippi / Capernaum / Tabga / Mount of Beatitudes / Jordan River

After breakfast, we will go to Caesarea Philippi, the place where Jesus appeared before Peter and the rest
of the disciples as God. We will hold a worship service in this location. From there we will visit the Sea of
Galilee where we will enjoy a boat ride and have lunch – with the opportunity to taste the famous San
Pedro fish. Our next stop will be Capernaum. Here we will see the ruins of a very old synagogue and the
site of the Apostle Peter’s house. We will then go to Tabga, where Jesus performed the miracle of the
multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Following Tabga, we will visit the Mount of Beatitudes. Our last stop, which will be very significant, will take us to the place where Our Lord Jesus Christ was baptized in the Jordan River. There you will have the opportunity to have a baptism of consecration, as a reminder of your baptism. You will receive a baptismal certificate. Then we will

Day 3ISRAEL: Cana / Nazareth / Megiddo

After having breakfast at the hotel, our Adventure for the day will take us to Cana of Galilee, the place
where Jesus performed his first miracle. We will have the opportunity to renew our wedding vows. Our next stop will be a village in Nazareth. This is a place that has recreated what Nazareth looked like in the time of Jesus. Our next and last stop of the day is Megiddo. The place that, according to the Bible, witnessed many battles and that looks out over the valley of Armageddon. After this visit, we will return to the hotel for dinner and spend our last night in this hotel.

Day 4ISRAEL & JORDAN: Sheik Hussein Bridge, Jerash, Mount Nebo & Petra

We will leave the hotel after breakfast, with our luggage ready. The bus will take us to the Sheik Hussein
Bridge, in the kingdom of Jordan. Our first stop will be Jerash, a Roman city that was part of the Decapolis. The city, which according to history, was the home of the demoniac Gerasene. At Mount Nebo, our next stop, we will be able to see the Promised Land, from the same place that Moses observes, although he was not allowed to enter it. From there we will continue our way south to the city of Petra where we will have dinner and settle in for the night. This will be the only night in this hotel.

Day 5JORDAN: Petra / Amman

After our first Jordanian breakfast, we will head to one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, the
Nabatean city of Petra. Included in the ticket, you can have a short horse ride to the main place in Petra,
unless you decide to walk through the canyon that takes us to the treasury. You will be able to observe
how such a rich city was abandoned, for no apparent reason, according to the prophecy of the Bible. After
this visit we will go to our hotel in Amman, to have dinner and spend the night there.

Day 6JORDAN: Amman / Dead Sea

After a traditional breakfast, we will visit the Citadel in Amman. The site is located on top of the highest hill in Amman, Jebel Al Qala’a, and around 850 meters above sea level and part of the seven hills that originally made-up Amman. We will visit the Temple of Hercules and the Ummayad Palace. After that, we will go to the Roman Amphitheater, built in the second century after Christ, with 6,000 spectators seating capacity.
Then we will travel to the Dead Sea. It is the lowest sea in the world. There we will spend time refreshing
ourselves in the waters of the Dead Sea. These waters are rich in minerals. You can apply sea floor mud on
your body, which is very beneficial for the skin. At the end of the day, we will be transferred to the Dead Sea hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7JORDAN & ISRAEL: Crossing Allenby, Qumran, Jericho, Mount of Temptation, Nabi Musa, Valley of the Shadow of Death & Wadi Qelt

Early in the morning, we will leave for the Allenby Bridge, to cross the border into Israel. We will meet our
guide once again inside the bus terminal. We will go to Qumran, the place where the famous “Dead Sea
Scrolls” were found. Here we will learn about the life of the Essenes. John the Baptist may well have spent
time with this community. After our time in Qumran, we will go through the Judean desert to Jericho, the
oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Jericho and its surroundings are full of religious and natural treasures. Here we will visit the SYCOMORE tree of Zacchaeus, the Elisha Fountain, and with a funicular, we will go to the top of the Mount of Temptation, the place where Jesus was tempted by the devil. We will visit the Greek Orthodox Monastery on top of the mountain. Leaving Jericho we visit Nebi Musa, the place where tradition says Moses was buried. After that, we will visit the Valley of the Shadow of Death (Psalm 23). To finish our day, the bus will take us to our hotel in Jerusalem, to have dinner and rest.

Day 8ISRAEL: Wailing Wall, Tunnel of the Rabbis & Bethlehem

After breakfast is served at the hotel, we will spend time at the Wailing Wall (The Western Wall), which is the remnant of the temple built by King Herod. After spending time in prayer at the wall, we will visit the Tunnel of the Rabbis to see the original floor of Jerusalem. Now we continue to Bethany, to the place where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Our next destination will be “the Little Village of Bethlehem” and the Church of the Nativity. We will hold a worship service in this location. There we will also see the Milk Grotto and the field of the shepherds. We will then return to our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 9ISRAEL: Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Chapel of the Ascension, Mount Zion & Garden Tomb

After finishing breakfast at the hotel, our first stop will be on the Mount of Olives with a great view of the
old city of Jerusalem and its wall. Then we will continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of
the Nations. The journey now takes us to the Upper Room on Mount Zion, the site of the Last Supper. Also, we will visit the Tomb of King David. In the afternoon we will go to the place of the crucifixion, Mount Golgotha, and the Garden Tomb. There we will celebrate communion. This is the last stop on the last day. From here we will go to the hotel for dinner and departure to the airport for our return trip.

FAQ

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

If you want an individual supplement for hotels, there is an additional charge of $ 790 per participant. We will do our best to find a hotel partner if you have no one to share with.

Tips

Tips are not included in the trip payment, but THEY ARE MANDATORY. Tips are calculated at $9 per person per day for 10 days, which will be distributed among: the bus drivers in both Israel and Jordan, the guides who will accompany us at all times to help us, the staff of the Hotels that will carry our luggage to and from our rooms, the staff of the restaurants in the hotels who will help us with the service. In each bus we will have an assigned person who will come to you to collect the $90 from you

Dress Code

Bring Casual and comfortable clothes, as well as comfortable footwear for walking.

Temperatures in Israel in October will be between 80°F to 83 F°. While in Jordan, temperatures will be between 83-88º. Plan to dress in layers, that way if you get warm you can take clothes off, and if it’s cold you put clothes on. You can safely leave things on the bus while we visit the different places.

Bring bathing suits for the Dead Sea. Preferably your swimwear is one piece.

PLEASE NOTE: Neither shorts or bermudas, nor sleeveless blouses are allowed in the holy places. Please plan to have long pants and long sleeve shirts or sweaters available to layer over other clothes while visiting these places.

Electricity

The voltage for Israel and Jordan is 220 volts.

Several hotels have electrical adapters and converters in their rooms; however, it is good that you bring your own European-style adapters and converters to connect your electrical appliances (especially hair dryers or hair straighteners). Most cameras, cell phones and tablets have multi-voltage connectors. The adapter style is type H.

Luggage

Only one suitcase (up to 50 lbs.) Plus one carry-on is allowed on the flight. It’s a good idea to pack enough clothes for two days in your carry-on (this will be useful in case your luggage is lost or delayed).

Passport

Your passport must have a VALIDITY of at least 6 MONTHS from the date of your return home.
