Tips are not included in the trip payment, but THEY ARE MANDATORY. Tips are calculated at $10 per person per day for 9 days, which will be distributed by our team to the appropriate people. This must be paid to us in the LOCAL CURRENCY (Turkish Lira). In each bus we will have an assigned person who will come to you to collect the 3,080 Turkish Lira (equivalent to $90 USD) from you on the first day. Bring exact bills, as no change will be available, please do not ask.  

Bring Casual and comfortable clothes, as well as comfortable footwear for walking.

PLEASE NOTE: Neither shorts or bermudas, nor sleeveless blouses are allowed in some places on this tour. Please plan to have long pants/a long skirt and long sleeve shirts or sweaters available to layer over other clothes while visiting these places.

The voltage for Istanbul is 220 volts.

Several hotels have electrical adapters and converters in their rooms; however, it is good that you bring your own European-style adapters and converters to connect your electrical appliances (especially hair dryers or hair straighteners). Most cameras, cell phones and tablets have multi-voltage connectors. The adapter style is Type C or Type F.

• You are allowed to bring ONE piece of luggage of up to 50 lbs per person, plus 1 carry-on.
  • Carry on luggage weight and size guidelines will be determined by the airline that operates your flight(s). After receiving your flight itinerary 30-60 days prior to travel, check the airline’s website for specifications.
• Additional un-approved luggage will either be left behind at the first stop if no additional transportation is available. If additional transportation is available, the customer with additional luggage will be charged a minimum of an additional $500 per bag for transportation, or the full rate of the transportation if it exceeds this rate. If no transportation is available, and the additional luggage is left behind, we are not responsible for disposal of or recovery of this luggage. It will be the traveler’s full responsibility to dispose of the luggage, or pay for it to be shipped back to their home address. 

Your passport must have a VALIDITY of at least 6 MONTHS from the date of your return home.

• A NON-REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE deposit of 11% per person is required with the registration, this should be done as soon as you decide to register, in order to secure your space.
• SPACE IS NOT SECURED OR CONFIRMED UNTIL THE DEPOSIT IS PAID. ALL ACCOUNTS WITH UNPAID DEPOSITS ARE SUBJECT TO BEING CANCELLED AND CLOSED AFTER 1 WEEK.
• The second payment of $1,000 per person is required by 7 months prior to the trip (January 15, 2024).
• A third payment of $1,000 per person is required 5 months before the trip (March 15, 2024).
• The final payment of the remaining balance on the account is due 4 months before the trip (April 1, 2024).
• Any registrations after payment deadlines will need to be paid up to the current due amount to have their spot secured.
• Credit Card payments have a 4% handling fee.
• A late fee of $75 will be charged if the payment is past due.
• If the trip is not paid in full 4 months before the trip, your spot on the trip and your airline ticket will be subject to cancellation without refund.
• Single supplements must be paid in full upfront in order to secure single supplement accommodations.
